Wow I have been so slack! What da junk is this? Well I have a little piece of pure genius to share to make up for it, and that is my new fave up and coming Canadian artist Grimes and her first single Oblivion off her latest album Visions.
Never in my life have I ever heard anything so flawless, so creative, so cool as Grimes. All I can say she is most definitely the new loop and layer queen of music. There's something so fresh to her music, I think it's the mixture of synthy 80s beats, echoing effects and her angelic voice. Plus I love how towards the end theres this backbeat that sounds as if she's sampled the Rugrats, pure 90s nostalgia. Check it owt.
